April 4, 2006
Little Caden was born on April 4, 2006, and weighed 6 lbs., 12 oz. Though he was a bit surprised at entering the world (see above), he quickly calmed down, and we all began to settle into a routine. Early on, he especially enjoyed eating, sleeping, and cuddling.
Now, he is just over three months old, and I'm going to spend some time summarizing a few key milestones from his life, thus far.
Family Visitors
Grandma Jo was our first visitor, arriving shortly after Caden did. Other family members who visited us early on included Grandad Bruce (April 21), Auntie Sally (April 27), and Nana and Grandpa Bracken (May 1):
Over the past few months, we have enjoyed watching Caden grow. These pictures show him at one week (easily fitting in his bassinet) and at seven weeks (just before our rambunctious little boy graduated to his pack 'n' play). Here's his growth trajectory, so far:
Caden is becoming quite interactive and playful. He likes to play with his toys, eat his hands, and (drumroll, please) lift his head during tummytime. We look forward to sharing more fun Caden moments with you as he grows.
