The past two weeks have gone by in a blur. Mama and Dada started teaching, and Mama was away for a couple of nights while giving an invited lecture up at Humboldt State. Ama visited from Friday to Wednesday. And the landscaping crew has started work on our backyard. Whew!
While Mama was away, Dada and the boys discovered that you can get It's-Its at the Albertsons down the hill. Yum!
Caden and his class have been studying Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and this past weekend, his teacher organized a field trip to the ChocXO chocolate factory in town. He brought lots of delicious treats home.
And Finn enjoyed lots of cozy reading time with Ama.
Yesterday, we wandered down to campus for UCI's 50th birthday celebration, where Caden wished Peter Anteater "happy birthday".
And Finn decided that it's pretty fun to climb trees.
