Gardens and Lego

Our backyard is almost finished. All that remains is planting, but a fever (last week) and tummy bug (this week) have conspired to keep Finn home from school and Mama and Dada away from the plant nursery. We did venture over to San Marino on Saturday to check out the Huntington Library and Gardens for inspiration.

Sunday was busy, with the annual Uni Hills Fiesta (tacos and bounce houses in the park) and a baseball game. Caden hit a bases-clearing 3 RBI double and got the game ball!

Monday, Caden didn't have school because of parent-teacher conferences, so Mama, Dada, and Caden went to Legoland! It was a fun day of rides and creations.

Finn stayed back in Irvine for the day, and we brought him a little stuffed dragon as a present. Before dinner on Monday, as we went around the table to say what we were thankful for, Finn said, "I thankful for my dragon." What a sweetie!

So much fun and excitement! Where do you keep the game ball, Caden? I love walking in beautiful gardens.
