Summer in Swampscott

We are enjoying a week in our old haunts on Boston's North Shore. It's great to vacation where you already know the best places to eat, swim, walk, and play. It's also fun because Finn is now the age that Caden was when we were discovering many of these places for the first time. And it has been wonderful to spend time with many of our closest friends. We are especially grateful to James, Lilli, and their parents, as we're staying at their house and playing with their toys while they're away in North Carolina and Florida. It's a perfect base for our adventures.

Caden spent the week before our trip at IDTech Robotics Camp at UCI. He learned a ton, using Lego Mindstorms to program robots to "bot sumo", follow lines, and sort colors.

Before flying east, we learned that our friends Jess and Riley welcomed new baby Leo to their family. We lit a candle to  celebrate his arrival.
